Terms & Conditions

 

  • Security Deposits: Security deposits are compulsory and are in place to ensure we can continue to provide good quality hire items, ensure our items are taken care of, and returned in the same condition they left.  The amount is 15% of booking total. Security deposits will be refunded once items are returned, inspected and found to be in the same condition as they left. Funds can take up to 10 business days to process depending on your bank and payment method. If you have not received your security deposit after this, please contact us.
  • Cancellation Refunds: Refunds will only be issued in full if cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the booking date. Refunds will not be issued within 14 days of the booking date to cover any loss of business due to items being unavailable for others. 
  • Payments: Payments must be made in full before items are released. Failure to make payments on time will result in forfeit or loss of your deposit and any monies paid.
  • Delivery: Our delivery service provides basic unloading and collection on return date. Fees are calculated depending on region and are in place to cover fuel and toll costs. Please ensure delivery/pick up location is easily accessible and notify us of anything that may cause delays (steep driveways, stairs, landscapes, venue restrictions etc.) prior to arrival. If venue is not accessible at scheduled delivery time or items are not easily retrievable at scheduled collection time, it will result in forfeiture of your security bond.
  • Late Fees: For pick ups and returns, a late fee will occur resulting in forfeiture of your security bond. If items are not returned within 24 hours of agreed time and no contact has been made, we will assume the items are stolen and will charge the market value cost of replacement to the card used at booking. 
  • Late Night Surcharge: A late night surcharge applies if goods are required to be delivered and collected on the same night. This will need to be paid in advance. Contact us for quote. 
  • Transport: Please ensure you have enough space to transport items safely and in a legal manner. Dimensions are usually disclosed to help with this. We will not be responsible for any load infringements whilst transporting our hire items. By choosing to pick up, you are agreeing that you have the capacity to transport these goods safely with the correct strapping and/ or coverage available to secure your load.
  • Storage: Please ensure all equipment hired is locked away in a safe, dry and secure place at all times when not being used. If being stored outside, items need to be under shelter or covered with a blanket or tarp. Goods are not to be shifted from address without the consent of Weatherall Weddings & Event Hire.
  • Cleaning: A cleaning fee is automatically applied to linens, drinkware and kitchenware. Charger plates are to be hand washed only. If chairs and tables get dirty, please wipe them down before return. 
  • Lost, damaged or broken items: If goods are damaged beyond repair or not returned, the full cost of replacement will be charged to your nominated credit card. Confirmation of these charges and any applicable photos will be sent to you via email. 
  • Waiver: The Hirer takes full responsibility for any injury that may occur to person over the hire period once equipment leaves our storage facility. Weatherall Weddings & Event Hire will not be held responsible for structures or tarps or any equipment causing injury to any persons, or property damage with regards to malfunctioning of the hire equipment or abnormal weather conditions (e.g. but not limited to strong winds, hail, electrical storms, fire, rain, flood, cyclone) or injury to any persons, transport infringements or damage to property once it has left our storage facility whilst it is being transported by the Hirer or on behalf of the Hirer. You give permission for Weatherall Weddings & Event Hire, to store your details for business, insurance, compliance and tax purposes. The Hirer grants Weatherall Weddings & Event Hire permission to access hire items for examination when called upon to do so or in case of client default causing the removal of said items.
